KUSASENRI, Japan — Japan’s Mount Aso volcano erupted Wednesday, sending plumes of smoke and ash into the sky over parts of the island of Kyushu, according to The Associated Press. Officials are warning residents and tourists to avoid the area as they gather more information about the incident.
