Now hiring for 33K jobs: Amazon to hold virtual career day

Amazon is looking to fill thousands of jobs, and the company’s going to do it through a virtual career day.

The online retailer made the announcement Wednesday.

The company is looking to hire more than 33,000 corporate and technology workers with an average salary of $150,000, “Good Morning America” reported.

The virtual career day will be held Sept. 16. To preregister and to get an appointment with a recruiter, click here.

There will also be interactive workshops and one-on-one career coaching sessions for 20,000 people. To do so, the company will be using 1,000 recruiters.

The event is open to anyone, no matter their location.

Currently, Amazon employs more than 875,000 people worldwide.
