COLFAX, La. — A Louisiana woman attempting to gain her boyfriend’s freedom slipped up and found herself behind bars, instead.
Alaina Cole, 21, of Houma is accused of stealing the car she drove to bond her boyfriend out of a Grant Parish jail, WGNO reported.
According to deputies with the Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office, Cole admitted that she stole the vehicle, WVUE reported.
She is being charged with “illegal possession of stolen things,” WGNO reported.
