UK variant cases in North and South Carolina impacting kids

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Cases of COVID-19 variants are popping up in the Carolinas. North Carolina has had 178 cases of the United Kingdom variant while South Carolina has had 86 cases.

WSOC’s Damany Lewis spoke to infectious disease experts at the University of North Carolina Charlotte about the variants.
