Tips for how to park a car
- Straight Parking Space

- Parallel Parking Space
- Find a spot that will suitably fit your vehicle and use your turn indicator to let other drivers know you will be parking in that spot.
- Line your car up parallel with the car that will be parked in front of you. Shift into reverse, and turn your steering wheel all the way to the right.
- Remove your foot from the brake slowly and allow your car to move into the spot, toward the sidewalk or curb.
- Once a good portion of the rear of your car is in the spot, begin turning your wheel back to the left. Back up as far as you can without colliding with any cars behind you. Shift your car into drive and move your vehicle forward to straighten it out.
- Repeat these steps until your car is parallel with the curb and you've left enough room for your car to get out. Shift into park and voila!
