  • The heat is building across the Charlotte area this week, with temperatures climbing back into the 90s.
  • Humidity will remain manageable through Wednesday before increasing Thursday, making it feel more like the mid to upper 90s.
  • A slow-moving cold front will approach the Carolinas this weekend, bringing rain chances with it. Saturday currently looks like the best chance for rain, though a few showers could develop during the Panthers’ home opener.
  • Temperatures will remain warm through the weekend as the front slowly moves toward the mountains.
