- More showers and even a few storms will move in this morning and then quickly clear out for this afternoon.
- Brief heavy rain and lightning are the main threats.
- A few cells far east may get stronger before they move out of the area.
- Sunshine returns this afternoon with highs in the low to mid 70s.
- Cooler and drier weather throughout the weekend as highs warm just to the mid 60s and lows in the 40s.
- Dry and clear weather likely most of next week.
