FORECAST:
- We wrap up the weekend with more high heat and humidity.
- High temperatures are expected in the mid 90s with the heat index near 105°.
- A Heat Advisory is in place for the Charlotte metroplex and points south through 8 p.m.
- Storm chances remain quite low again Sunday afternoon, but anything that fires up could bring in some heavy downpours and intense lightning.
- No real change coming in any time soon as the streak of 90s hangs on all week.
- Some minor relief should arrive by next weekend.
