FORECAST: Pleasant Election Day weather leads to potential midweek showers

FORECAST:

• A lovely day is ahead with sunshine and highs warming to the mid to upper 70s this afternoon.
• A little bit of moisture starts to roll in by midweek ahead of a weak cold front.
• This may touch off some brief showers late Wednesday into Thursday, but it won’t add up to much.
• The mountains may see about 1-2” but everywhere east likely sees a half inch or less.
• Dry conditions return for Friday and the weekend with a minor cool down back to the lower 70s.
