FORECAST: Plenty of sunshine with temperatures reaching nearly 50 degrees

FORECAST:

• It’s a quiet weekend with chilly mornings and milder afternoons.
• High temperatures today are climbing into the upper 40s to near 50 degrees with wall-to-wall sunshine.
• We’re cold again tomorrow morning with mid to upper 20s on tap. Highs on Sunday afternoon are in the low 50s!
• Some extra clouds build through the day with a few flurries in the mountains late in the day.
• There’s an isolated rain chance early Monday, mostly south of Charlotte.
• That clears by the afternoon with continued warming through midweek.
• Highs are expected to reach nearly 60 degrees on Wednesday.
