FORECAST: Week starts with cooler trend, rain risk

FORECAST:

  • A few showers are possible overnight and could briefly linger into the Monday morning commute, but no big impacts outside of wet roads.
  • Monday starts the cooler trend with mostly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 40s to low 50s.
  • The highest rain risk for our area this week will be Tuesday through Thursday.
  • Tuesday starts off with a wintry mix for the mountains, which could lead to some icy spots.
  • The rest of the area will see scattered showers that intensify as we go into early Wednesday.
  • Continuing with the threat for moderate to heavy rainfall through Thursday.
  • Temperatures are chilly too with highs in the 40s for the middle parts of the week.
  • Still looking at 2-3+ inches of rainfall and will need to watch the potential for flooding, especially in the mountains.
