FORECAST:

  • A Heat Advisory has been issued for the Charlotte metro and points south and east through Thursday evening.
  • Heat index values may reach close to 105 degrees on Thursday as temps rebound back to the mid-90s.
  • The only thing that could slow things down again would be some high clouds.
  • The risk for an isolated storm is low with most of the area missing out.
  • It will be the same story on Friday and the weekend as the 90s and high humidity hang on.
  • Our streak of highs in the 90s will likely last through next week.
