Victim dies at scene of motorcycle crash in York County, coroner’s office says

YORK COUNTY, S.C. — One person has died after a motorcycle crash in Rock Hill, the York County Coroner’s Office says.

Early on Saturday morning, the coroner’s office was called to investigate a motorcycle death on Neely Store Road.

The coroner’s office said the driver of the motorcycle, 28-year-old Trey Freeman, of Rock Hill, ran off the roadway and was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy and toxicology report are expected to be finished this week, according to the coroner’s office.

Both the coroner’s office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating the crash.
