A 30-foot sinkhole has opened up in a parking lot at the corner of Monroe Road and Sardis Road North in southeast Charlotte.
Chopper 9 flew over the scene where the massive hole has been roped off.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The parking lot is in front of a strip mall and also connects Cinemark Movie Bistro Charlotte.
Businesses in the strip mall were closed Friday, the property owner told Channel 9.
