CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Three men forced their way into a home early Thursday morning in the Hidden Valley community and robbed an elderly couple at gunpoint, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said.

The woman was hit by an attacker in the home on Log Cabin Road but police said she was not seriously hurt.
The home invasion happened at 12:31 a.m., police said.
No arrests have been made and detectives have not released a description of the men.
