SALISBURY, N.C. — The Cheerwine Festival is back for its third consecutive year, bringing more music, more food and all the Cheerwine you can handle.
The free event is set to take place, Saturday in downtown Salisbury from noon to 10 p.m.
Smash Mouth, best known for its hit song, “All Star,” will headline the festival. In addition, two Carolina-based bands, Livehouse and StellaRising, along with Nashville-based band, The Southern Gothic, will perform.
For the first time, the festival will feature a scavenger hunt, with fans searching for clues all over downtown Salisbury for a chance to win prizes. To participate, you’ll need to check in with the Cheerwine Fan Club tent at the event.

Back for the first time since the brand’s centennial celebration in 2017, the Rowan Museum will feature a free Cheerwine exhibit that takes you through the soft drink’s last 102 years.
Festivalgoers can also sample a few of the delicious flavors of the Carolinas, free of charge, including hushpuppies from House-Autry, Cheerwine floats from Mooresville Ice Cream, Cheerwine barbecue sauce from Cackalacky and freshly baked biscuits from Renwood Mills.
Additional Cheerwine-infused fare that will be available for purchase include Cheerwine float popsicles from King of Pops, Barbecue Cheerwine tacos from El Patron, Cheerwine funnel cakes with Cheerwine icing from Beaver Food Service and Cheerwine lattes, frappuccinos and waffles from Mean Mug Coffee Company.

There will also be several Cheerwine-infused craft brews available for purchase including New Sarum Brewing Company's Cheerwine Lager, Bull City Ciderworks' Cheerwine Cider and Morgan Ridge Brewery & Eatery's Cheer Beer.
In addition, there will be street performers, local craft vendors and a kids’ zone featuring lots of family-friendly games and activities.
