Corey Smith, Brothers Osborne and Styx will headline the 2019 Speed Street festival happening May 23-25 in uptown’s Romare Bearden Park.
Other acts performing include Abby Anderson, Caylee Hammack, Tyler Rich, Charity Case and Kannapolis' own Kameron Marlowe, who appeared on season 15 of “The Voice.”
Free tickets for Smith’s performance on Thursday, May 23, can be picked up at any Circle K in North Carolina, South Carolina or Georgia.
Tickets for Friday and Saturday’s shows with Brothers Osborne and Styx go on sale March 15. Prices start at $20.
In addition to concerts, the three-day event, which leads up to the Coca-Cola 600 race on May 26 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, features NASCAR driver and celebrity appearances, interactive displays and exhibits for all ages, among other race-related activities.
Other events that will be held in conjunction with the May races include Movies on the Campus in downtown Kannapolis on May 3, Haulers on Union Parade and Fan Fest in Concord on May 16 and the Little 600 race at GoPro Motorplex in Mooresville on May 21.
