WATCH: Keith Monday Tracks Hurricane Irene

The forecast path of the storm has it making landfall around Charleston on Saturday morning, meteorologist Keith Monday said. It could bring heavy rain to the Charlotte area.

If the hurricane shifts farther eastward, the Charlotte area would see less of an impact, Monday said. The forecast is highly subject to change depending on Irene's track.
