A mother, who did not want to be on camera, said she was fed up with the recent crime.

“It’s awful. There’s always people getting killed around here. Makes me scared to even live here,” resident Emma Dixon said.

“We can’t let our kids out here to do anything. They can’t play they can’t do anything,” the mother said. “We need to solve all these crimes and give them justice.”

This shooting is the second deadly shooting in the Gayle community. The previous one occurred on Pinnkey Street in mid-April.

A spokesperson with the Chester County Sheriff’s Office siad there has been four murder investigations so far this year.

However, only two of them have been solved.
