KANNAPOLIS, N.C. — A 17-year-old was shot and killed in Kannapolis Monday night, police said.
It happened on Coldwater Lane, off Dale Earnhardt Boulevard.
Kannapolis Police identified the victim as Legend Benjamin.

Officers are now trying to track down the driver of a red SUV who left the scene.
