CHARLOTTE — One person was shot at about 4:40 p.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of North Church Street in north Charlotte, MEDIC said.

They were taken to Atrium Health CMC with life-threatening injuries.
At the scene, Channel 9 crews found police along the railroad tracks in that area.
However, no additional details have been made available.
