IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — A 12-year-old girl suffered a serious injury Sunday when the sled she was riding while being pulled by an ATV crashed into a pole in Iredell County, officials said.

Emergency crews were called to the 600 block of McKendree Road in Iredell County.
Officials said the girl had a “traumatic injury.”
