CHARLOTTE — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said its North Tryon Division officers arrested 21 suspects between June 15 and June 21 during Operation Nite Shade, which was conducted to disrupt criminal activity, reduce victimization, and make that area safer.

The operation’s focus was in the Sugar Creek and Reagan roads corridor.
