$3.5M Foxcroft mansion marks county’s priciest home sale in March

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A home in Charlotte’s Foxcroft neighborhood, with a price tag of $3.45 million, marked Mecklenburg County’s most expensive home sale in March.

At more than 9,000 square feet, the home on Red Fox Trail includes six bedrooms as well as seven full and two half-bathrooms. In addition to high-end features such as a gourmet kitchen and a grand foyer with a winding staircase, it also houses a home theater, exercise room, game room and a library.

The 0.65-acre property includes a saltwater pool and spa, a fire pit, gardens and two double garages.

The Foxcroft home had most recently sold for just shy of $3.3 million in November 2007, according to county real estate records. It was originally listed for sale in the fall of 2018 for nearly $4 million, according to Realtor.com.

Built in 2006, the home underwent an extensive renovation in 2010, the home’s real estate listing states.
