Witnesses said a man went to a neighbor’s house around the time that Moose was killed and asked to use a phone so he could get a ride home.

They described him as a white man between 25 and 35 years old with light brown or sandy blond hair. They said he was wearing light-colored Carhartt overalls and a dark backpack. A composite sketch of the man who witnesses saw in the area was released.
