ROCK HILL, S.C. — An 84-year-old Rock Hill man was killed early Sunday after being struck by a vehicle while walking along McConnells Highway, according to the York County Coroner’s Office.
Coroner’s officials said they responded around the early morning hours of Nov. 1 to 4390 McConnells Highway to investigate the crash.

The victim, identified as Marcus Hicklin of Rock Hill, was pronounced dead at the scene.
An examination and toxicology testing are expected to be completed this week, with results pending.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol and York County Coroner’s Office are investigating the crash.
