Local military veterans will soon have a new option for affordable housing.
The Mulberry Senior Apartments in west Charlotte will have about 20 units dedicated to veterans.

The housing partnership received a grant to help pay veterans' rent. The rest of the complex will also be affordable, with a one-bedroom apartment costing $585 per month.
