BURKE COUNTY, N.C. — Burke County officially launched its first Property Revaluation Task Force, led by citizens.

Members of the organization met for the first time last week, according to the Morganton Herald.
The group will advise county commissioners as they reevaluate the tax values of properties.
Each month, members will study different parts of the process.
