HARRISBURG, N.C. — Three people were arrested in connection with a deadly shooting at a park in Cabarrus County.
Deputies said two people were shot after hours at a Harrisburg park on Dec. 28.
Taryn Presley, 20, of Kannapolis, died of his injuries on Saturday. An 18-year-old was treated and released from the hospital.

Deputies have charged 17-year-old Nicholas John Carl Brooks and 19-year-old Jaylen Dashawn Tyson with murder and conspiracy to commit a felony. Joenel Santiago, 17, is charged with conspiracy to commit a felony.
The shooting happened just before 10 p.m. at Harrisburg Park on Sims Parkway.
The victims and suspects knew each other, and the crime was an isolated incident, according to investigators.
Deputies said they received several calls from Harrisburg residents saying they had heard gunshots near their homes.
A man who lives in the neighborhood said a young man ran to his doorstep asking for help.
“All of a sudden, the doorbell just started ringing, just nonstop,” he said. “He was noticeably shaking. You can tell he was distraught.”
Officials said one person was transported to Carolinas Medical Center-Main, but there is no word on the victim's condition.
The man said the victim told him, "You gotta help me. I’ve been shot."
“I was just like, ‘Wait right here.I got to get my phone to call 911.' When I came back, he was gone," the man said.

The park closes at 8 p.m.
“I’m just in shock,” neighbor Brenda Whitley said. “That late at night, how (did) they (get) in here when the gates are supposed to automatically close? I’d like to know what they were doing here at that time of night.”
