Car slams into CATS bus in north Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating after a car slammed into a Charlotte Area Transit System bus Thursday morning.

The crash happened just after 2 a.m. on North Graham Street near West Craighead Road.

Officials said there were no passengers on the bus and minor injuries were reported.

Channel 9 was at the scene and could see the extensive damage to the car.

Police have not said whether the driver will face any charges.
