CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) is reporting damage to the catenary system. This will cause the LYNX Blue line to operate a Bus Bridge from the UNC Charlotte Main Station to the McCullough Station until further notice.

The damage was caused by a car at Institute Circle on North Tryon Street early Monday morning.
Regular rail service will be operating from the McCullough Station to the Interstate 485 and South Boulevard Station, according to the CATS riders alert.
