Cavendish Brewing Company closes after 10 years in business

GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — After ten years in business, the Cavendish Brewing Company is officially closed.

According to the Gaston Gazette, Wednesday was the brewery’s final day.

The owner of the establishment told the Gazette they are retiring from the beer business.

The popular spot has been sold to Sugar Creek Brewing. It is not clear when the brewery will reopen under its new name.
