CONCORD, N.C. — A local charity is going the extra mile to help mothers-to-be.
Mint To Be held a drive-thru baby shower in Concord on Saturday.
They showered expecting mothers with baby wipes, diapers, onesies and even postpartum care items.
“I know that having a baby during the pandemic is extremely difficulty mentally, physically and emotionally, so this is just a small token of love that we’re just trying to pour back in to these women,” Allen said.

Sharee Allen, the founder of Mint To Be, said having a baby during a trying time like this adds even more stress to mothers.
Mint To Be plans to have another drive-thru baby shower this fall.
