CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte Fire Department has a new truck that will better help them respond to fires inside the parking deck at Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

In 2024, one car fire quickly spread and destroyed three other vehicles in the parking deck.
Now crews have designed a specialized truck that can fit inside that deck, carry 200 gallons of foam, and put out fires quickly.
