CHARLOTTE — A new analysis from moving company MoveBuddha ranks the Charlotte metro as the “stickiest” city in the country.

Meaning residents are more likely to stay put than move away.
According to the Charlotte Observer’s breakdown of the study, one in four people who moved within or out of Charlotte stayed in the metro area.
That retention rate is 76% higher than the national average, according to the Charlotte Observer.
