CHESTER COUNTY, N.C. — A murder suspect confessed to shooting his girlfriend in Chester County after she said they were breaking up, deputies said.
It happened early Tuesday morning on Westbrook Road, just south of the York County line.

Wayne Jacob told Chester County deputies he killed Laura Cleveland after an argument, according to the Rock Hill Herald.
Jacob is being held at the Chester County jail.
