CHARLOTTE, N.C. — CMPD made an arrest Thursday in a deadly shooting on Jan. 24, 2020 in southwest Charlotte.

Officers were then called to Stone Post Road near Cobblestone Court where they said they found a victim shot to death.
There was a second scene connected with the homicide.
MEDIC confirmed the victim, Brad Gregory Kelly, 21, died at the scene.
Kenneth Sturdivant, 29, was charged with Kelly’s murder.
Officers also were called to another scene in west Charlotte on Edgewood Road near Susan Street around 8:19 p.m. They found a victim shot and was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No other details have been released.
