CHARLOTTE — A deadly shooting is under investigation in Uptown.
It happened just before 4 a.m. Sunday along West Trade Street near Cedar Street, according to CMPD.
Police say they were called for an assault with a deadly weapon and found a man with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.
Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
