CHARLOTTE — Police are investigating after one man was killed and another person was hurt during a shooting Thursday morning in north Charlotte.
Officers were called around 1 a.m. to the Hunters Pointe apartment complex on Prospect Drive where they found Joshua Sealy, 25, dead from a gunshot wound.

“I don’t have the specific numbers on the crime numbers in this area, but I know the division area has done a lot of crime-fighting efforts and engaged with the community to try to bring some of those numbers down,” CMPD Maj. Jackie Bryley said.
A short time later, another person showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound, but he is expected to be OK.
Police have not made any arrests or said yet what may have led to the violence.
The investigation is ongoing.
