CHARLOTTE — Hickory Grove police recently seized nearly 25 pounds of suspected cocaine after a buyer discovered packaged drugs inside a storage unit purchased at an auction.

Officers responded to a call regarding found property after the auction buyer inspected the unit’s contents and alerted law enforcement to the suspected narcotics.
In addition to the cocaine, police seized more than three ounces of suspected methamphetamine and approximately 0.89 ounces of suspected fentanyl during the investigation.
