CHARLOTTE — An accidental fire broke out in north Charlotte Sunday afternoon, according to the Charlotte Fire Investigation Task Force.
Crews responded to the 9200 block of Old Statesville Road around 4:00 p.m.

When they got to the scene, a second alarm was called.
Firefighters managed to control the blaze within 15 minutes, ensuring no injuries were reported.
Investigators say the fire caused an estimated $43,000 worth of damages.
