At its meeting last week, Lancaster County Council approved the third reading of an ordinance to rezone a 28-acre site to allow for the new Costco. The rezoning request was led by Crosland Southeast, which is developing The Exchange at Indian Land at an adjacent property and landed Costco for its remaining land there.
The site at 8918 Charlotte Highway was previously zoned for light industrial uses.
