CHARLOTTE — British electric vehicle manufacturer Arrival has already made big commitments to Charlotte. The company announced another this week.

Arrival revealed its plans to establish a High Voltage Battery Module assembly plant on Yorkmont Road in Charlotte. The company pledged to invest $11.5 million and create 150 jobs at the new facility, its third in Charlotte and fourth in the region. The plant will service Arrival’s two microfactories in the region, one of which will make buses in Rock Hill with the other producing vans in Charlotte. The company is also nearing the opening of its North American headquarters in South End.
