HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — The Huntersville Fire Department saved three people who were stranded on Mountain Island Lake Tuesday night.
Firefighters say the group was exploring the area on a raft when they were suddenly pushed downstream.

Just after 7:30 p.m., crews from Huntersville and Mount Holly came together to help and reunited the group with their family.
