Five years since Zahra Baker's remains found

HICKORY, N.C. — Thursday marks five years since investigators announced they had found the remains of a 10-year-old girl from Hickory.
 
Zahra Baker's case gained national attention.

Search warrants said she was dismembered and buried in Burke, Caldwell and Catawba counties.
 
Five years ago Thursday, investigators said they had enough physical evidence to identify the remains as Baker.
