GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — Firefighters are trying to figure out the cause of a destructive early Monday morning house fire in Gastonia.
The fire started around 3:30 a.m. Monday in a home on South Emerson Street, off West Garrison Boulevard.
Officials say a Gaston County officer and a neighbor called in the fire.
No injuries have been reported.
The house appears to be a total loss.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
