CHARLOTTE, N.C. — This Matthews restaurant will more than quadruple its footprint later this year.
Black Chicken Wine Cellar has signed a lease for an additional 1,600 square feet — increasing its space to 2,100 square feet. That concept is located in the Matthews Station mixed-use development in downtown Matthews.
The larger footprint allows Black Chicken Wine Cellar to expand its kitchen, with lunch and dinner options such as sandwiches, salads and cheese plates planned.
Expect a limited selection of draft beers in addition to a rotating, curated wine menu, which includes 18 selections by the glass and 500 options by the bottle.
