CHARLOTTE — Classes next week will likely be impacted by this weekend’s storm.
Whether schools are closed or go virtual does have an impact on whether those days have to be made up.

A 2022 North Carolina law allows each public school to receive five remote instruction days. These are days that will not have to be made up.
Schools, however, can also apply for a Good Cause Waiver for up to 15 remote learning days.
