HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — First responders in Huntersville pulled a crash victim from a wreckage Friday night after a car slammed into the back of a tractor-trailer.
Crews shut down the northbound lanes of Interstate 77 at the Sam Furr Road Exit after the wreck that left debris scattered across the freeway.
Firefighters rode in an ambulance with the patient to Atrium Health-Main to assist paramedics.
Lanes were later reopened.
