INDIAN TRAIL, N.C. — In a massive effort to help hungry families, 100 volunteers bagged up 40,000 pounds of potatoes in Indian Trail.

This is the seventh potato drop that Faith United Methodist Church has hosted.
The Society of Saint Andrew provided the potatoes.
All of the bags will go to food pantries, ministries and low-income neighborhoods.
